Okay, kiddies, you knew it was coming.
It’s May 6th and the Canadian Tulip Festival is HERE!
Every year, the festival has a theme for its events. 2011 is no different, and this year’s theme is “Kaleidoscope” and, with that in mind, the numerous events that make up this year’s Tulip Festival include a whirl of sound, taste, and colour to engage the senses and the imagination.

The OIWF’s slogan is “Ideas Need Words”, and the festival believes that the imagination is humanity’s most valuable and renewable resource. As such, it hosts a twice-yearly series of lectures, performances, workshops, and other events to stimulate and celebrate the imagination, as well as special events through-out the year.
