Officially known as the Canadian Tulip Festival (or in french, Le Festival Canadien de Tulipes Ottawa-Gatineau), this year’s event takes place in Ottawa from May 4-21, 2012. Every year, the festival has a theme for its events. 2011 is no different, and this year’s theme is “Kaleidoscope” and, with that in mind, the numerous events that make up this year’s Tulip Festival include a whirl of sound, taste, and colour to engage the senses and the imagination.
