Every year, the festival has a theme for its events. 2011 is no different, and this year’s theme is “Kaleidoscope” and, with that in mind, the numerous events that make up this year’s Tulip Festival include a whirl of sound, taste, and colour to engage the senses and the imagination.

In addition to being home to the House of Commons, the Senate, numerous gargoyles and grotesques[1], and the Library of Parliament[2], Parliament Hill (located on Wellington street[3] at Metcalfe) has been home to a feral cat colony for over thirty years.
