 On the second Sunday of May each year, Canadians celebrate Mother’s Day to show their love and appreciation for all mother figures. This is the perfect opportunity to express their gratefulness. When we talk about mother figures, guardians, aunts, mothers-in-law, grandmothers, and even step-mothers are taken account of. Even for just a day, people put their efforts in recognizing the efforts of our mother figures who dedicated their time to care for us and guide us through the different challenges or endeavors. |
 What are the usual things that people do on Mother’s Day? How can we make it special? There are hundreds of ideas that can come into mind when making Mother’s Day a special one. We can give flowers, chocolates, greeting cards, or make special meals and do chores for our mother figures. What’s important is that we do it whole-heartedly and make them feel loved and that they are appreciated. |
 Even if Mother’s Day is not a federal holiday, it is celebrated on a Sunday because most organizations and business offices are closed. This day is a great opportunity to take out our mothers to dine in a restaurant, or treat them to a relaxing spa and other forms of pampering. Speaking of such, here are some ideas on where to take mom, aunt, grandma, or any of your mother figure for this year’s Mother’s Day celebration. |
 The mall – taking out mom for shopping is one way of pampering her and showing her the love that she very much deserves. Why not buy her a new set of clothes at the Stone Road Mall in Guelph, or take her to any of the salons at Central City in Surrey. Love movies? How about a date night (or afternoon) at the CrossIron Mills in Calgary? |
 Outdoors – the outdoors doesn’t necessarily mean you have to do extreme activities like hiking, cycling, or even camping (but these are still awesome suggestions). Why not take your mother figure out for a picnic? Prepare the meals and surprise her by taking her to Dufferin Grove Park, or enjoy a day at the beach in Bluffers Park, Scarborough. |

Celebrations of mothers and motherhood occur throughout the world. And when this day comes, nearly all of us were enthusiastic to make them happy. Any of the stuffs we might do is to make certain recipes and build an marvelous dishes for them. Especially when their children prepared that for their mom?! It will assuredly well treasured by their mothers! Because Mother’s day for me is the day that their children make that day special for their moms! But of course the children must treat their mothers’ special even if it is not Mother’s Day. But of course, children must treat their mothers’ as the most special person even it’s not Mother’s Day.
We just celebrated mother’s day at home , my kids surprised their mom by preparing most of her favorite food and giving her some flowers, It’s simple but my Wife really appreciate it .
Definitely a time to celebrate and make it special for them. Mothers are definitely one of the precious things we have in life that we all have to treasure. We can show them that they are special in many ways every day and this coming Mother’s Day would also be great to have family gatherings.
I can’t wait!! On mother’s day we’re planning to go outing with the whole family to celebrate. My dad really wants to make this day special for my mom. She really deserves it! Mothers are always there for us. That’s why I love my mom so much!!

Mother’s day is near!!! I’m so excited about it, I really want to surprise my mom and make it a very special day for her. We all have unique ways of celebrating mother’s day. But above all we all feel the same. We all want to make this day special for them in the best way we can.

Now, I have with me my plans on how to surprise my mother on this upcoming special event. We do have to make it very special coz it’s only once a year, and this is the right time for us to make them feel how grateful we are to have mothers like them.
I always await that day (MOTHER’S DAY)…. I always surprise her with a cake! Cook her favorite dishes! I always make her important to us! Every mother in the world is best! Because they were the ones who sacrifices and takes care the family… They were the ones who filled the absence of the father… For me, MY MOM, “ I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!
